Adjective + ly = adverb (meaning of adverb)

  1. Swift + ly = swiftly (with great speed)

  2. Bright + ly = brightly (with lots of light)

  3. Merry + ly = merrily (with happiness)

  4. Clumsy + ly = clumsily (in a foolish manner)

  5. Clear + ly = clearly (in a clear manner)

  6. Part + ly = partly (not complete)

  7. Brave + ly = bravely (in a brave manner)

  8. Bold + ly = boldly (in a bold manner)

  9. Sound + ly = soundly (in a proper manner, completely)

  10. Sad + ly = sadly (in a sad manner)
