Types of Plants-Theory Session
There are many types of plants around us.
For example : Coconut tree, Apple tree
Plants can grow on land and in water.
Plants are of different sizes and shapes.
Plants can grow in very cold as well as very hot places.
Some plants live only for a few months.
Some plants live for hundreds of years.
Big and tall plants are called trees.
Some plants are small. Such plants are called shrubs.
Some small plants do not have woody stems.
Such plants with soft stems are called herbs.
Some plants have weak stems. Such plants are called climbers.
