  • The boundary of a circle or the length of a circle is its circumference.

  • When a stone tied to a thread rotated in a circular path with uniform speed is suddenly released, it moves along a straight line that is tangential to the circular path.

 

Reason:

  • Once the stone is released, it continuous to move along the direction it has been moving at that instant.
