The Pineapple Raita


 Pineapple Raita

Preparation Time: 10 Min | Cooking Time: Does not require any cooking.

It can be prepared instantly.

Serves: 3 – 4 servings

 

INGREDIENTS:                                             |        AMOUNT:

  Fresh Pineapple (chopped)              |        1 cup

  Thick Curd                                         |        2 cups

   Cumin Powder                                  |        ½ tsp

  Sugar (optional)                               |        1 tbsp

     Coriander Leaves (chopped)          |        1 tbsp

       Salt                                                      |        To taste

       Green Chilly  (chopped) (optional) |        ¼  tsp

  Pomegranate seeds                         |        1 tsp

METHOD OF PREPARATION

  1. Take the curd in a bowl. Add sugar and cumin powder in it. Beat the curd until it becomes smooth.
  2. Add chopped green chilly in it and mix well.
  3. Add chopped fresh pineapple in it and mix well. You can also use tinned pineapple pieces in place of fresh one.
  4. Add salt in the Pineapple Raita just before the serving and mix well. Your yummy Pineapple Raita is ready to serve.
  5. Take out Pineapple Raita in a serving bowl and garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds. Keep it in refrigerator and serve it chilled.
