FLOW OF ELECTRIC CURRENT
• There are three basic things required for an electric current to flow.
A device used to produce an electric current such as cells, batteries.
A wire made up of metal such as copper, silver, or aluminium, which allow current to pass through them.
Metal wire should be connected from one terminal of the battery through electrical appliances back to other terminal of the battery.
In an electric circuit, electric current flows from the positive terminal to the negative terminal of the electric cell.
SIMPLE ELECTRIC CIRCUIT
• The two terminals of the electric cell are connected to two terminals of the bulb. Such an arrangement is an example of an electric circuit.
