have got, has got Session


We use has got with 3rd person singular and have got with 1st person, 2nd person and 3rd person plural. 

We use have got and has got when ;

1. things we own or posses or they belong to us

for example :

‘Have you got a camera? ‘No, I haven’t.’

What kind of car has she got?

2. in relationships

for example :

I have got two sisters.

She hasn't got any childre.

3. physical characteristics :

for example : 

I have got black hair.

4. Illness :

For example :

I have got cough.

 

  1. I’ve got blue eyes. (Or I have blue eyes.)

  2. Tarun has got two sisters. (or Tarun has two sisters.)

  3. Our car has got four doors.

  4. Dinky isn’t feeling well. She’s got a headache. (she’s got = she has got)

  5. They like animals. They’ve got a horse, three dogs and six cats.

  6. Mr. and Mrs. Sharma haven’t got any children.

  7. It’s nice house but it hasn’t got a garden.

  8. ‘Have you got a camera? ‘No, I haven’t.’

  9. ‘What have you got in your bag?’ ‘Nothing. It’s empty.’
