ATM - Automated teller machine:
It is a machine inside or outside a bank
We can withdraw or deposit money from or to our account through an ATM.
We use ATM card to withdraw money from ATM.
Television:
1. It is an electronic appliance with a screen.
2. You can watch programmes and movies on this appliance.
CD player:
It is an appliance that is used for playing Compact Discs (CDs).
DVD player:
It is an appliance that is used for playing Digital Video Discs (DVDs).
Electric Iron:
Iron is an electric tool with flat metal base.
It is heated and used to remove wrinkles from clothes.
Fan:
It is an electrical appliance with blades.
It rotates to create a current of air.
Tube light:
It is a device for giving light.
It is in the shape of a tube and available in different colours.
Lamp:
It is a device that has a bulb which lights up with the use of electricity.
They are also used for decoration.
Cooler:
It is a device that cools air through the evaporation of water.
Air conditioner:
It is an electrical appliance that cools and dries air.
Heater:
It is a device that heats the rooms during winters.
Blower:
It is a device that produces a current of air for drying things.
Refrigerator:
It is an electric appliance.
This appliance keeps the food at a lower temperature so that it stays fresh.
Microwave:
It is a type of oven.
It cooks or heats food very quickly.
It uses electromagnetic waves for heating and cooking the food.
