Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana
Launched on 25th September 2014 by Union Minsters Nitin Gadkari and Venkaiah Naidu on the occasion of 98th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.
To provide employment to youth residing in rural area.
 
 
Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana
The scheme would help in:
 
(i)   Improvement in hours of power supply in rural areas,
 
(ii)  Reduction in peak load,
 
(iii) Improvement in billed energy based on metered consumption and
 
(iv) Providing access to electricity to rural households.

Mahatma Gandhi Pravasi Suraksha Yojana
Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs introduced a Pension and Life Insurance fund scheme called Mahatma Gandhi PravasiSurakshaYojana (MGPSY) for the Overseas Indian workers having Emigration Check Required (ECR) passports.
The objective of MGPSY is to encourage and enable the overseas Indian workers by giving government contribution to:
Save for their Return and Resettlement (R&R)
Save for their old age,
Obtain a Life Insurance cover against natural death during the period of coverage.
The government contribution available under the MGPSY is for a period of five years or till the return of subscribed worker back to India, whichever is earlier.

Launched on 25th December 2014.
Shri J P Nadda, Health & Family Welfare Minister launched “Mission Indradhanush”
The Mission Indradhanush, depicting seven colours of the rainbow, aims to cover all those children by 2020 who are either unvaccinated, or are partially vaccinated against seven vaccine preventable diseases which include diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, polio, tuberculosis, measles and hepatitis B. The Minister launched the Mission on Good Governance Day to mark the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Shri Madan Mohan Malaviya and birthday of Bharat Ratna Shri AtalBihari Vajpayee.

Soil Health Card Scheme
Soil Health Card Scheme
Launched by the Government of India in February 2015.
Under the scheme, the government plans to issue soil cards to farmers which will carry crop-wise recommendations of nutrients and fertilisers required for the individual farms to help farmers to improve productivity through judicious use of inputs.
All soil samples are to be tested in various soil testing labs across the country.
Thereafter the experts will analyse the strength and weaknesses (micro-nutrients deficiency) of the soil and suggest measures to deal with it.
The result and suggestion will be displayed in the cards.
The government plans to issue the cards to 14 crore farmers
