Use of BESIDE / BESIDES
BESIDE = by the side of / next to
Example:
(beside = next to each other)
(beside = by the side of Roger)
BESIDES = in addition to / as well as
Examples:
(Besides = in addition to)
(Besides = just as well as generous)
Use of ‘IN TIME’ / ‘ON TIME’
IN TIME = within a comfortable time span; not late
ON TIME = at the exact hour; neither late nor early
Examples:
You are well IN TIME for the music concert. (comfortable span)
The concert will begin right ON TIME. (at the exact hour)
