Flow of electric current

FLOW OF ELECTRIC CURRENT

•    There are three basic things required for an electric current to flow.

1. A device used to produce an electric current such as cells, batteries.

2. A wire made up of metal such as copper, silver, or aluminium, which allow current to pass through them.

3. Metal wire should be connected from one terminal of the battery through electrical appliances back to other terminal of the battery.

4. In an electric circuit, electric current flows from the positive terminal to the negative terminal of the electric cell.

•    Electric current will flow through the wire, glowing of bulb shows that electric current is flowing.
