Kangaroo
Kangaroos are found in Australia.
They are herbivorous animals that eat only grass and small plants.
They need very little water to survive.
A male kangaroo is called a buck, a female kangaroo is called a doe and a baby kangaroo is called a Joey.
Female kangaroos have a pouch.
Mother’s warm pouch is a safe place for a kangaroo’s baby to grow.
Kangaroo moves by hopping on its hind legs.
They are very fast animals.
A new-born kangaroo is only the size of a peanut.
In pouch baby feeds on her mother’s milk.
