  1. sundae – a food made from ice cream, with pieces of fruit, nuts, cream, sweet sauce, etc. on top of it

example – Chocolate sundae is my favorite dessert.

Sunday – the day of the week after Saturday and before Monday

example – We are going to Jaipur on Sunday.

 

  1. throne – the special chair used by a ruler, especially a king or queen

example – Shah Jahan was on the throne when Tajmahal was built.

thrown – past participle of ‘throw’ which means to send something

through the air with force, especially by a sudden movement of the arm

example – He was thrown out of the restaurant because he had no

money.

 

  1. fir – a tall evergreen tree that grows in cold areas and has leaves that are like needles

example – There are many fir trees in Shimla.

fur – the thick hair that covers the bodies of some animals

example – My mother bought me a very beautiful fur coat.

example – Ankita is going to marry Shrey.

example – Have a merry Christmas !

example – I like to eat rasp berry.

bury – to ignore or hide a feeling, a mistake etc.

example – Anita had learnt to bury her feelings.

example – Children were making sand castles on the beach.

beech – type of tree

example – I have a chair made of beech wood.

 

  1. buoy – a floating object on the top of the sea

example – While we were boating in the lake I saw a buoy floating nearby with a sign that said "Danger: No Swimming".

example – She plays the drums in a band.

banned – prohibited

example – The school banned chewing gum because students used to throw it anywhere or stick it on the walls and desks.

 

  1. ceiling – the inside surface of a room which you can see when you look above you

example – I have painted stars and moon on the ceiling of my bedroom.

sealing – prevent something from escaping by closing a container or opening

example – She was sealing envelopes when I reached there.

 

  1. air – the mixture of gases which surrounds the Earth and which we breathe

example – Shruti opened the window to let in some fresh air.

heir – a person who will legally receive money, property or a title from another person

example – As the king’s son, he was heir to the throne.
