  1. Singular nouns ending in ‘o’ (consonant before ‘o’) can be changed to their plural form by adding ‘es’ at the end of the word.
                     
Tomato                      Tomatoes
 
          
  Potato                      Potatoes
 
              
 Mango                       mangoes
 
           
 Buffalo                   buffaloes

 

  1. There are some nouns ending in 'o' which can be changed to their plural form by simply adding 's' at the end of the word.
   Piano                          Pianos
 
     
   Radio                          Radios
 
   
        Photo                      Photos

 

  1. Singular nouns ending in ‘f’ or ‘fe’ or 'ef' can be changed to their plural form by replacing ‘f’ or ‘fe’ or 'ef' by ‘ves’.
         
     Leaf                            Leaves
 
       
    Thief                        Thieves
 
                      
Knife                          Knives
 
    
   Wolf                           Wolves

 

  1. Some nouns remain the same whether they are singular or plural.
        Sheep                    Sheep
 
    
     Deer                       Deer

 

  1. Some nouns have two different words for singular and plural form.
         
       Mouse                     Mice
