  1. your – belonging or relating to the person or group of people being spoken or written to

you’re – you are

  1. read – past tense of ‘read’ which means to look at words and understand them

Example – I read many stories yesterday.

red – the colour of blood

Example – I have bought a very beautiful red dress.

 

  1. made – past tense of ‘make’ which means to produce something

Example – He made very tasty coffee for everyone.

maid – a woman who is paid to work in someone’s house

Example – My maid has finished her work.

 

  1. brake – a device which makes a vehicle go slower or stop

Example – We should check the brakes of our cycle before riding.

break – to separate suddenly or violently into two or more pieces

Example – Don’t break the glass.

 

  1. buy – to get something by paying money for it

Example – I want to buy some good books.

bye – a word you say when you leave someone or when they leave you

loose – not firmly fixed in place
