Exercise – 2
In each pair of situations, make one sentence with a Present Perfect Simple verb for the longer time period. For the shorter time period, make another sentence with a Present Perfect Continuous verb.
Example:
a. I started work at 9 a.m. and I'm still working.
b. I started to work in this office in 1989 and I still work here.
Answer:
a. I've been working, since 9 a.m.
b. I’ve worked in this office since 1989.
