If a number 'X' is divisible by another number 'Y' then 'Y' is said to be factor of 'X' and 'X' is said to be multiple of 'Y'. 45 is divisible by 3,5,9 and 15 so all of them are said to be factors of 45 and 45 is said to be multiple of 3,5,9 and 15. When we write a table of any number then actually we write multiples of that number in ascending order.
For example :
Table of 3 - 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30 these are actually forst 10 multiples of 3 and we can also say 3 is factor of all of them.
Every number is a factor and multiple of itself.
